Man Arrested In Connection With J Cole Concert Shooting

The state police executed a warrant and arrested the suspect Wednesday morning.

Quran Powell, a 27-year-old New Jersey native, was arrested in connection with a recent shooting at PNC Bank Arts Center following a J Cole show.

According to NJ.com, New Jersey State Police raided Powell's East Orange, NJ apartment on Wednesday morning and arrested him on charges of two counts of attempted homicide, possession of a weapon for unlawful purpose and certain persons not to possess a firearm. He is currently being held in Monmouth County Jail in Freehold, NJ with a bail set at $750,000.

Powell allegedly shot a 23-year-old and a 24-year-old man in the parking lot of the venue after J Cole performed there Monday night. As of Thursday morning both men were in critical but stable condition.
