The Golden State Warriors cruised to a 118-105 victory over the Nuggets last night, tying the NBA-record for best start to a season at 15-0. The only other teams to have started with that record are the 1948-49 Washington Capitals and the 1993-94 Houston Rockets.
Next up for the Warriors? A home game against the 2-11 Los Angeles Dumpsterfires, so go ahead and mark down the 2015-16 Warriors as the best start to a season in NBA history.
“It’s a huge accomplishment,” Curry said of his squad’s blistering start. “Obviously, coming off a championship and taking care of business 15 straight times to start the season — couldn’t ask for a better start.”
“It’s kind of a quiet confidence that we don’t feel like we’re going to lose anytime soon,” Stephen Curry said. “The way we’re playing … we can get even better.”
Following Tuesday’s game against the Lakers, Golden State has favorable matchups against the Suns, Kings, Jazz and Hornets.
Can’t wait to see what the ’82-0′ Under Armour Curry Two looks like.
