DeAndre Jordan Considering Staying With The Clippers

NBA free agents can officially sign deals that they've agreed to this off-season beginning tomorrow, July 9th. That was when Mark Cuban and the Dallas Mavericks expected to ink DeAndre Jordan to a four-year max contract worth roughly $80 million.

However, despite giving the Mavs his word, DeAndre is reportedly 'leaning toward' staying in Los Angeles.

Clippers owner, Steve Ballmer, along with Doc Rivers, JJ Redick, Blake Griffin, and Paul Pierce are currently headed to Houston to convince DJ to stay with the Clippers.

Chris Paul, who just returned from his banana boat vacation with LeBron, Wade and Carmelo, was scheduled to attend the Peach Jam AAU tournament in Georgia, but he's being re-routed to the Lone Star State as well.

Here's how it's playing out right now on twitter (Via emjois) as both teams attempt to persuade DJ:

After DeAndre got in touch with Doc Rivers on Monday, Doc started getting in touch with the whole team asking them to get to Houston

Chris Paul ended his Caribbean vacation short, Blake Griffin flew in on Tuesday. JJ Redick, obviously driving from Austin.

I'm told the meeting with DeAndre is starting w/in the hour and the Clippers are "hopeful" he's coming back.
