Chris Young Extends Tour, Teams with Lauren Alaina for ‘Town Ain’t Big Enough’: Listen

Chris Young enlists the help of Lauren Alaina for “Town Ain’t Big Enough,” another new track off his forthcoming eighth studio album. The power ballad tells the story of a couple struggling after a breakup while continually running into each other around town.

The duet features former American Idol season 10 runner-up Alaina’s powerhouse vocals while Young’s distinct baritone highlights the hurt following a split. The breakup anthem was written by Young, Cary Barlowe, Corey Crowder and Dan + Shay’s Shay Mooney, who assists on background vocals.

“This town ain’t big enough/ Your friends and mine run into each other all the time/ Seems like there ain’t no place to run/ This town ain’t big enough for both of us,” they sing on the chorus.

In addition to new music, Young has announced that he has extended his Raised On Country World Tour 2019. The singer has revealed 19 more dates, with the trek now running through November. Eli Young Band and Matt Stell will serve as openers for the fall leg, which kicks off Sept. 26 in Pennsylvania.
