Kane Brown brought his reflective new single “Homesick” to The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon on Sunday evening (Sept. 8), as part of the Sunday Night Football edition of the late night show. “Homesick” was written by Brown, Taylor Phillips (“Hurricane,” “Good As You”), Brock Berryhill (“What Happens in a Small Town,” “Good As You”) and Matthew McGinn (“What Ifs,” “Heaven in 2018 while the singer was on the road. It was inspired by Brown feeling homesick himself and missing then-fiancée Katelyn Jae. The song is featured on his sophomore album, Experiment, released in 2018.
