Margo Price played a very special set for her fans in Nashville on Thursday night (Sept. 13) on the roof of Third Man Records headquarters. The singer posted a short clip of the special event, tweeting, "Such a beautiful sunset in Nashville tonight from the rooftop of @thirdmanrecords. It was so fun to sing songs old and new for a great crowd."
She noted that she was joined by Lilly Hiatt for the Beatles' "Don't Let Me Down" -- in a nod the Fab Four's iconic January 1969 final live set on the roof of their Apple Corps hq in London -- and Brandi Carlile for a run through the Dolly Parton classic "9 to 5." The set also included songs from Price's albums Midwest Farmer's Daughter and All American Made.
Third Man offered the first 75 fans who showed up a free special 7" for the show they tagged as "Celebrate Female Voices."
