Before 2019 ends, Billboard is revisiting some of the year's biggest songs that got a second life their remixes.

This impressive list features a historic 19-week Billboard Hot 100 leader -- "Old Town Road" by Lil Nas X feat. Billy Ray Cyrus -- some K-pop crossovers, with BTS collaborating with Lauv on their original "Make It Right" track and NCT 127 teaming up with Ava Max on her "So Am I" bop, and Wednesday's (Nov. 13) latest venture with Shawn Mendes hopping on the remix of Taylor Swift's "Lover."

Chart-topping artists came together on remixes of their hit songs, like Justin Bieber helping out his No. 1 fan Billie Eilish on the second iteration of her No. 1 hit "Bad Guy" and Ariana Grande singing her way onto Lizzo's No. 6 smash "Good as Hell."

These artists brought the heat for the year's hottest remixes, including Travis Scott to the latest version of "Hot" by Young Thug featuring Gunna from Thugger's Billboard 200-topping LP So Much Fun
