Countless artists in the music community are sharing their gratitude and memories of family members who have served in the U.S. Armed Forces today (Nov. 11), in celebration of Veteran’s Day.
While Tim McGraw posted pictures of family members who served, he also offered a message of thanks. “Thinking today & everyday of all who’ve helped make this world a better place with your courage, sacrifice & dedication to our country,” he captioned several pictures of family members who served on Twitter. “We who live in freedom will always be grateful for your service.”
Bette Midler also shared her thanks to those who served this nation. “This is THEIR day, a time to contemplate the sacrifices they made on our behalf,” she wrote.

"The goal is honesty. You have to be honest if you’re gonna take on this task, and yet be truthful in its delivery so that men and women who did serve, will feel a pride when they hear this song.” -- Jon @BonJovi on writing #Unbroken. #VeteransDay pic.twitter.com/yAkkkU11XL— CBS This Morning (@CBSThisMorning) November 11, 2019
Thank a veteran today! You have no idea what they've been through...I sat down with my David that runs Companions For Heroes & his story gave me chills. Listen, be patient & know there are resources out there like @c4heroes to lend a helping hand when you're in need. #VeteransDay pic.twitter.com/juIkMkNaEs— Easton Corbin (@eastoncorbin) November 11, 2019
On this Veteran’s Day, I’m deeply thankful for the men and women who have sacrificed so much to serve this country. Especially those families, like my wife Patty’s, that for generations have made it their business to do so. #veteransday #gratitude --------✨ pic.twitter.com/MBPBVL95Td— Charles Esten (@CharlesEsten) November 11, 2019
