Meghan Trainor dropped by BBC Radio 1 on Wednesday (Jan. 8) to play a riveting game of "Your Lyrics Different Song."
During the game, the pop star successfully mashed up her debut 2014 single, "All About That Bass" with the beat of Billie Eilish's smash hit "Bad Guy." "Yeah it's pretty clear I ain't no size two/ But I can shake it, shake it like I'm supposed to do/ 'Cause I got that boom boom that all the boys chase/ All the right junk, all the right places," she sang over the creeping, insidious beat of the 18-year-old's No. 1 hit.
Following the impressive display, Trainor laughingly admitted she was quite in the moment during the song. "Wow, yeah, I got lost; I just got lost!" she told BBC host Scott Mills. "I was like, 'This a f--kin' bop.' Oh sorry! This a bop!" ("I [heart] @billieeilish so much," Trainor later wrote on social media.)
Trainor is currently prepping the release of her long-awaited third studio album, Treat Myself, which is slated to be released Jan. 31 after numerous delays dating back to the summer of 2018. While a full tracklist has yet to be revealed, the LP includes 2018 single "No Excuses," the Mike Sabath-assisted "Wave" and latest single "Evil Twin."
