Post Malone Tops Artist 100 Chart For First Time Since May

Plus, Dean Lewis debuts as ballad 'Be Alright' hits the Hot 100's prime 40.

Post Malone rises Three-1 on the Billboard Artist 100 chart (dated Jan. 12) to grow to be the highest musical act within the U.S. for a 3rd whole week, and for the primary time since May 2018, as his Swae Lee collaboration "Sunflower (Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse)" hits No. 1 on the Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs chart.

The Artist 100, which launched in July 2014, measures artist exercise throughout key metrics of music consumption, mixing album and observe gross sales, radio airplay, streaming and social media fan interplay to supply a weekly multi-dimensional rating of artist recognition.

"Sunflower" concurrently rises 5-Three on the Billboard Hot 100, reaching a brand new peak, whereas the rapper/singer's former No. Three hit "Better Now" rebounds 23-10. Plus, his newest single "Wow." vaults 47-13 on the tally following its first full monitoring week.

Rounding out the Artist 100's prime 5, Ariana Grande dips to No. 2 after 5 whole weeks on prime (two in 2014 and three in 2018-19); BTS dips 2-Three; Imagine Dragons maintain at No. four; and Panic! at the Disco dances 6-5.

In a quiet interval for brand spanking new music after the vacations, Dean Lewis claims the chart's highest debut this week at No. 80, as his breakthrough single "Be Alright" surges to the Hot 100's prime 40 (63-40). It continues to develop in airplay, bulleting at No. 12 on Adult Pop Songs and No. 23 on Pop Songs.
